Ramadan Tent part 2

So attended the Ramadan Tent meeting at SOAS University yesterday, I was so pooped that I just fell asleep last night otherwise I would have posted this yesterday rather than right now so yeah...

The meeting was wonderful and very informative I felt such good and passionate energy around the room (as quiet as it was) you could tell that everyone was there for the same reasons (to help.) Omar Salha the founder of the organisation gave an in depth and very humble explanation on what he expected from us all. Not only that but how open and sincere himself and his team were to changes/ ideas from the volunteers. I just feel so blessed and fortunate to have actually taken the first step to be apart of this group and hope it will bring good tidings and fortune to the rest of the team as well as those around it.

For those of who you who do want to be apart of the team, and think that it's too late! Oh it's not there will be another induction day for new volunteers on the 26th of June which is next week Thursday (I think) if not I'll edit it. But yes everyone should definitely consider going or actually attend the meeting especially if you're looking to make new friends or just do something good.
